Job Purpose

The Sales and Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the full student recruitment process, improving sales performance, coordinating internal teams and overseas branches, and ensuring that all applications, follow-ups, and operational activities are completed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily sales and operational activities within the student consultancy business.

Oversee the student recruitment process from initial enquiry to application, offer, deposit, CAS, visa support, and enrolment.

Monitor enquiries, leads, follow-ups, applications, conversion rates, and team performance.

Coordinate with branches and representatives in Nepal, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Ghana, and Pakistan.

Support counsellors, admissions staff, and international teams with university updates, documentation requirements, and application procedures.

Ensure students receive accurate guidance on courses, universities, scholarships, tuition fees, application requirements, and general study options.

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase student recruitment and improve conversion rates.

Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, agents, university representatives, and education partners.

Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns, webinars, social media promotions, and lead-generation activities.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, student pipelines, branch activity, and operational progress.

Ensure the CRM system is updated properly with student records, communication history, application status, and follow-up notes.

Identify operational issues and introduce process improvements to improve efficiency and service quality.

Ensure all recruitment and operational activities are professional, ethical, and aligned with partner university expectations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Education, International Relations, or a related field.

Experience in sales, operations, student recruitment, education consultancy, or team management.

Good understanding of the UK higher education sector and international student recruitment process.

Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage sales targets, operational deadlines, and multiple student pipelines.

Experience working with students, agents, university partners, and international branch teams.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, email, online meeting platforms, and digital communication tools.

Desirable

Experience working with international student markets such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Ghana, or Pakistan.

Knowledge of UK university admissions, student visa processes, and credibility interview preparation.

Experience managing a sales team, admissions team, overseas representatives, or branch operations.

Existing network of education agents, student recruitment partners, or university contacts.

Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns and lead conversion activities.
